Global warming - it is when the subtropical Greece and Turkey covered with snow IN MARCH! Again...


Snow started falling in Egirdir, Turkey around noon on 8 March 2011. This is what it looked like on Yesilada about an hour later. Seven hours later more than a foot of snow has covered the island.

Eastern province of Erzurum experienced its coldest night with minus 32 degrees Celsius.
The temperature was minus 29 degrees Celsius in Agri, minus 21 in Ardahan, 17 in Kars, minus 14 in Erzincan and minus 9 degrees in Igdir, officials reported.In Athens, the storm brought top wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph on Tuesday amidst falls of wet snow and numbing cold rain. Temperatures dipped to near freezing.
At Tripolis, on the southern mainland, the storm left about 6 inches (15 cm) of snowfall as temperatures dipped to 25 degrees F (-4 degrees C).
